bank Saloon
F.C. Schaffner

In 1908 this building was occupied by the “Bank Saloon” of Godensweig & Koy.” Evidently, it was later owned by F.C. Schaffner as seen in the photo. This is the Schaffner who died in the shootout in 1922.

A huge thank you to the Sealy News and Sealy Area Historic Society for keeping our History alive and keeping great detailed records of our buildings downtown in the Historic District.
